The route for this Nevern walk took the group south from the lay-by on the A487 towards the lower slopes of Carningli and then headed east for a lunch stop at Pentre Ifan. The afternoon section followed the path alongside the river form Felindre Farchog and Nevern, viewing the Pilgrims Cross along the way. Fortunately the footpath had been improved since the recce and the safety rope carried as a precaution, remained unused.
